Georgia law:
Per State Board Rule 509-2-.03 Issuance of Licenses and Registrations, the Business is required to hire licensed officers.
The officer must be able to show a current guard license. License is defined by O.C.G.A § 43-38-6(A)
Per Georgia Code § 43-38-10, the officer must have a guard and weapons license
Per Georgia State Law Penalty § 43-38-16, Any person who engages in the private detective business or private security business or offers, pretends, or holds himself out as eligible to engage in the private detective business or private security business and who is not legally licensed or registered under this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
